Caspian Stallions

Alamo’s Shahins Austre

2000 chestnut, Lanhill Shahin x Mote Malika

Blaze is an outstanding representative of the
"thoroughbred type" of Caspian horse.  His conformation is impeccable -- most notably, with leg conformation that approaches perfection and an overall sense of balance and athleticism that many warmblood breeders would admire.

Blaze is a bright metallic chestnut with a blaze and white socks.  He has outstanding, elegant movement, exhibiting a huge, free, swinging trot that is perfectly cadenced and seemingly effortless, and a canter that is ground-covering and gorgeous.  In addition, he has a superb temperament; calm, sensible, and respectful of both humans and horses.  He is polite and well-mannered in any surroundings.

Blaze is sired by the outstanding English stallion Lanhill Shahin (Forstal's Barewa x Henden Sophie) and out of the mare Mote Malika by Rosmear Bahoosh.   He is linebred through his dam on the Iranian foundation mare *Taloche, whose line is rare and critical, *Taloche having only two daughters who had reproducing offspring.  Blaze is a cross of offspring from both forks.  With a bloodline percentage of 12.5 %, he is the highest *Taloche-percentage stallion known to stand at stud in the US, and a perfect outcross on Caspian mares with high percentages of better-represented foundation stock to diversify.

He has excellent motility and concentration and ships cooled very well, and is a kind and gentle live breeder.  Blaze had 100% conception in his first season, on FIRST CYCLE cover with all his mares !  His first foal crop, all fillies, were uniformly correct in their conformation, with super temperaments and his outstanding movement.

Blaze will begin under saddle and driving training here as time permits.  He stands at stud to outside mares for a stud fee of $500USD, live cover available to pony mares, A.I to full-size mares.

Kristull Nahpaul

2005 black, Texanas Noah x MCC's Khastan Absal Paula.

Nahpaul is a charming and handsome youngster whom we will incorporate in our breeding program in the future.  He is balanced and correct, with a pretty head and smooth topline, and an excellent amount of bone.  We plan to use him as a riding and possibly driving prospect as he matures, he is very sensible and accepting of new experiences.  He is bright, inquisitive and friendly and thoroughly enjoys playing in his water trough!  We expect him to mature at the top end of the Caspian height range of 12.1-2.

Nahpaul is sired by the excellent stallion Texanas Noah, who is the only son of British Caspian Champion Runnymede Felfel in this country.  Runnymede Felfel carries the rare *Felfel foundation line through his dam Hopstone Banafsheh, the only direct offspring of *Felfel outside of Iran.  Nahpaul's dam Paula comes from Australian lines, and is an excellent producer, with many of her offspring being retained for breeding stock. She also carries the tail line of the rare foundation line of *Anahita. Through his sire and dam, Nahpaul combines the best of English and Australian pedigrees, in addition to his high *Felfel and *Anahita percentages, he also carries an astonishing 5.5 % percentage of the *Nour-e-Jehan foundation line, remarkable as *Nour-e-Jehan is represented outside Iran only through her one offspring, the stallion Ruba II.

Stay tuned for more information and updates on Nahpaul as he matures and undergoes training.  We thank Tachara Caspians in KY for the chance to acquire Nahpaul.
