Welcome to Central Asian Equines. We are committed to the preservation of the Akhal-Teke horse, one of the oldest and purest breeds of horse remaining in the world today, living pieces of history. Descendents of the harsh Central Asian desert region, they are ancient, noble, and revered. They have contributed their genes and beauty to numerous light horse breeds present today and are finally experiencing enough growth to ensure their survival for future generations to cherish.

We are beginning our 25th year with this highly addictive breed, and continue to firmly believe that they are the world's premiere riding breed, with their unique combination of lightness, elegance, athleticism, and intelligence. It only takes one ride to experience the incomparable feeling.

While we are very pleased to receive these accolades, we remain humbled and grateful that many of our sales are repeat clients who have acquired more than one Akhal-Teke from us. We are also pleased that while so many of our offspring are successful in competition, many are also cherished family companions who mean the world to their owners. We have spent many years breeding, raising and training excellent quality pure- and partbreds, but have decided to take some time away from that front in order to spend more time training, riding, and competing some of our own talented youngsters and enjoying them ourselves for a change. We are not standing any of our stallions to outside mares at this time, but please feel free to contact us by email about what may be currently available for sale or lease.
Please enjoy our website and feel free to contact us, we welcome comments and feedback.
